She reused the unsanitized clips from the previous client on my hair. My hair is pretty much one length, as I requested; but she did elevate sections to remove the "dead". The problem is, elevation creates layers. No one cleans or sanitizes their hands between clients, as I did see them all switch clients while I was there. I understand that time is of the essence, but sanitation is a HUGE part of the state board test. I know, because I've taken and passed it also; in Tennessee.

But I was so pleased by my visit to the Donelson Great Clips location, and my hairdresser, Ashley this morning that I'm prompted to write and give thanks. Nothing extraordinary about my haircut--I'm older and just wanted a basic trim--but because I am older I appreciated both the salon's quiet atmosphere as well as Ashley's calming good humor. I highly recommend this location--at any budget!
