- MSMichael Starr5 days ago1.0Went to get a hair cut 04/02/26 based on a March Madness sale of $12 promotion at this location. It had been longer than my standard 4-6 weeks. The young lady who cut my hair asked if I wanted my standard 1" or so cut, I said yes. The price was $20 plus a tip I ask about the March Madness sale. Nothing was discounted I simply paid the $20 plus a cash tip not wanting to make a big deal of it. I Realized after I got home, my hair looked like not enough had been cut. The first opportunity I had to go back was today (one week later). I got the same young lady, she apologized, I said well, we both learned I should have asked for more to be cut off a week ago, she spent about 5 minutes cutting some additional hair. It looked good, I thanked her, she rang up the price for an additional haircut of $20, I inquired, no discount, I was here a week ago. She said let me check, she asked one of the other older ladies who was working there if they could do something and was told no. I paid another $20 for a haircut. I have been patronizing this local business for several years, albeit I rarely see the same individuals working there, obviously high turnover. I will not be going back to this location for any future haircuts. This is simply a poor way to run and build a business.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
