  Let me start off by saying, I am sorry to have to write a bad review. Everyone at this Med Spa was very nice. I went in several days ago to have Xeomin injections for my "11s" and to lift my brows. I have been getting neuromuscular injections for the better part of the last 7 years and have used every product (except Daxxify and Xeomin). I wanted to try Xeomin because it is supposed to be better for people who have tolerance to other products, which I do. I saw that this Med Spa offered it, and it was close to my house, so I made an appointment. When the NP injected the medication into my "11s," she wiggled the area as she injected it, and then when she was injecting the inner part of my eyebrows, she squeezed the area as she was doing it, and it felt like she was moving the needle around under my skin as she was injecting. I have never had another provider do this, and it was quite uncomfortable. By the time I got home, maybe a 10-minute drive, the whole area that was injected was extremely painful, like I had been hit there. When I woke up the next morning, the whole bridge of my nose was swollen, along with my eyebrows, and felt bruised to the touch. Now two days later, the swelling is worse, and I still feel extremely bruised. I have never had this happen with any other provider I have seen, and I usually get significantly more units. Occasionally, I will have a small bruise or two, which is very normal, but I have never been swollen or had the area be painful to touch. I hope this resolves without lasting negative effects, but I wanted to write this because I think the injector could greatly benefit from additional training. Another concern was that she removed the rubber stopper from the product to draw up the Xeomin. I know this is sometimes done for single-use vials, but it seems a bit unsanitary.

  I have had not one but two great experiences at this med spa. Crystal was absolutely wonderful — extremely professional, very thorough, and knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly, step by step, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my visit. She was also very polite, attentive, and truly cares about her clients. The environment was clean, calm, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this med spa, especially if you have the opportunity to work with Crystal.

  This is the best little secret place in Knoxville. Crystal is very professional and always makes me feel real comfortable. The place is clean and comfortable. Prices for services are reasonable. I would highly recommend Crystal for all of your skin services.
