- MHMelissia HallSep 10, 20251.0Maddie was my stylist. I specifically said "No layers". My hair was all one length and full that came down below my shoulders. I wanted 1 to 2 inches taken off for dead ends, with just the hair around my face cut to frame my face. She started cutting the back first and I couldn't see what she was doing. She put layers all in my hair and I didn't know until she got to the sides where I could see that she was hacking my hair off. I literally lost half of my hair. She said "I'm sorry I misunderstood but I left the back long". Nope, she layered everything. Misunderstood, really?! I was very clear on what I wanted. Then she said "Oh you wanted curtain bangs". Girl, I don't know what that is. I just wanted dead ends removed, my face ONLY framed and NO LAYERS! She should have clarified her understanding before she did the first snip. I didn't realize until I got home how short the layers started and they weren't even blended. It is just blocks of layers now. This is exactly why I go 2 or 3 years between hair cuts. There is nothing "great" about someone ruining your hair. I barely have enough to pull into a ponytail now. I hope all her hair falls out in patches. Not forever, just once so she will know what it feels like. Girl, double check with your customer and listen to them!

- JJJasmineAug 20, 20251.0Tammy sit my son straight down n her chair and proceeded to be confident as she knew how to cut his hair properly!! Quickly into the cut I noticed that her hands were shaking as if she was on some kind of stimulant and used 4 different blades to trim the sides of his hair and didn’t even touch the top!! His poor scalp is burnt and with no symmetry at all!! I should have known by looking at her hair and got up from the beginning, but was hopeful but went against my better judgement and now I have a son a half cut haircut and the roughest/pokey hair ever!! She kept telling me she wasn’t used to cutting his Curley hair but continued to kept on butchering him!! How awful of an experience and my poor baby boy looks like he cut his own hair!!!

If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
