I took my grandmother in for a haircut and decided to get one as well since I was over due for one and already there. My grandmother is in a wheelchair and she beat me to the door to open it making it easier on me to bring her in. I have been growing my hair out for years and was nervous to let anyone touch it because all I was wanting was my dead ends trimmed and not a dramatic change in length. She listened to what I had to say and followed through with a great haircut. Half way through my appointment my grandmothers portable oxygen started beeping indicating it was going dead. I was getting my hair blowdried so I couldn’t hear the beeping over the blowdryer and Haley notified me and immediately accommodated her by plugging it in to let it charge while my grandmother was waiting on me to finish up. I usually don’t write reviews, but she went above and beyond for us and deserves to know how much I appreciated her! Down to earth and a great stylist, book with Haley!! 🙂

However I am sooooo displeased with paying $47 for a still wet & still dirty scalp. Like I had already been there 2 hours for a shampoo and blow dry. The shampoo was mediocre but i didn’t complain. It’s like she was unsure how to cleanse or approach my thickness. Which became way more obvious during the blow dry. It was dreadful and apparent Brittany had never worked with textured hair before. I’m not convinced she has much experience. Finally it’s over and she trying to charge $66 and I asked, is that the price?! She said.no then starts changing it. I promise I don’t mind that she charged $40 for “long style” but I do mind that I now need to shampoo AGAIN and thoroughly dry. The whole reason I decided to go some place to get it done was to give myself a break. So I basically paid & tipped someone else for ME to have to shampoo & blow dry my hair. I would have been much more understanding if she had said she doesn’t have much experience with my texture of hair and asked me to wait for someone else who does OR check if Id be fine with proceeding with her as my stylist.
