    I’m not sure how this salon is still open. I don’t think they have anyone working there that cares. Been here twice. Just trying to get an appointment is a hassle. Always running behind, canceling or trying to cancel last minute and I was overcharged for my service-she tried to cancel my appt 10 mins before the scheduled appt time saying “she didn’t have time to do my hair” and I didn’t get the service I booked for but still charged for it. I wouldn’t bother trying them just find a real salon. It’s disappointing especially since they offer natural hair services at an affordable price but unfortunately they miss the mark and don’t allow proper time for the services they advertise.

    I had an 11 AM appointment and arrived at 10:55 AM. No one was there, so I waited. At 11 AM, still no one. I checked again at 11:15, 11:30, and 11:45—each time, the salon was empty. I called multiple times with no answer. While waiting, I asked a JCPenney associate about the salon’s schedule, and they said it depends on the day. When I mentioned I had an appointment, they apologized but couldn’t offer any help. I called again Monday—still no response. I don’t blame my stylist, as they lost out on income, but I do blame the owner for not keeping track of appointments or ensuring the salon is staffed. When I reached out to customer service, they told me there was no direct number and that I’d have to go in person. I wasn’t going to waste more time and gas for another no-show. This was my first and last experience with the JCPenney salon. It’s frustrating because I had heard great things about my stylist, but due to poor management, I never got the chance to see for myself.

    Went in today to be told they had no stylist in. What does that even mean? You're a hair salon...why hire someone not able to cut hair? It's been going downhill since Kim left

    I love this little salon. Deborah is just the best. When I asked her not to cut much off of the length because i'm trying to let it grow longer...she did exactly what I asked
