I signed in on line and did not have to wait more than 10 Min. My haircut was exactly the way I wanted it.

They are very inefficient. They don’t really know the basic hair cut. Very disappointing.

Okay I have been to this location 4 times now. And for the record, I have tipped handsomely every time, maybe because I know it's hard to make money cutting hair, and I sympathize with that. First haircut was awesome, white lady that seemed super frustrated just having to work there. Second haircut, black woman who was kind and talked as if she at least cared a little bit about me, not a great haircut, but I really am not picky. Third haircut, truly awful. I asked for it to be thinned on the top and she seemed scared to attempt. Then I watched her eyes visibly raise, like a "yikes" look, when she did it but didn't say anything. At the end of the hair cut, she tried to tell me I am balding around my crown. I am not balding. She really was not going to be able to explain that one, but you know what? I let it slide and just tossed it up to another bad day. Today, the 4th and final haircut I will be getting from this place, the guy wore a crossbody bag that was shoulder level, hit me with it every time he went to grab something, did not say one single word to me while sitting in the chair, and seemed just slow in the brain. While I was waiting, I was observing the few people cutting hair thinking to myself, "oh my god my hair is about to be butchered." I was right. He's trying to line me up like we're at a butcher shop. Never even got my hair wet to measure the trim of the hair. He just stood it literally HALFWAY UP and eyeballed it with electric trimmers. I have a push over swoop-ish style on the front of my hair, you CAN NOT just go to town with electric trimmers. But I don't even know what to do in that situation. Speak up? I already don't trust these people to do a mediocre job? Usually speaking up about anything just makes everything worse these days anyways. After he finishes, he blow drys the hair off my shoulders, but does not get all the loose hair out of my head. Its just a nest up of loose hair up there. I have never seen the same people working in there on another visit. They are literally just hiring anyone to cut hair these days. I am actually furious thinking about how a haircut can be this bad twice in a row. I work in sales and I'm already hard to look at. This is utterly ridiculous and I think it is a crime letting these people get away with that. I have left each time, other than the first time, thinking that nobody there must know how to cut white men's hair. I have had many haircuts in my life, and this has been the one place where it seems like the whole procedure for cutting a white man's hair gets thrown out the window. How do you not section the hair, get it wet for precise measurements, or blow the loose hair out of my head? Or even say one word to me? I couldn't bring myself to tip 100% this time. To call these people hair stylists is such an insult to real hair stylists.

I have been a customer at Great Clips in Cordova on Germantown parkway for three years and I’ve always gotten a great haircut. Customer service has been absolutely top-notch. Today I had a new stylist to cut my hair and she did absolutely a wonderful job so kudos to Great Clips in Cordova. CW
