- MKMiranda Kenney4 days ago3.0Today was my first time visiting (I normally go to the downtown location). Initially, was good. Check in was easy and we were showed the locker room/shower/bathroom, and were showed the waiting area once we were ready. We were asked shoe size and shown different robe sizes. We were also offered a drink. We asked about using the sauna and were told we could but it didn’t open until 11:00 and we would have to pay an additional $25 to use it. Con- We filled out an intake form that asked our sizes (sandals and robe) and what we’d like to drink. If we have to do an intake form, why ask these questions when we get there, again? My bill came to over $420 and my friend’s was $380 and you want $25 to use a sauna that’s not even open when you open? Most spas include the amenities. All of the lockers are one short wall, double stacked in the bathroom area. This area is inconvenient for more than 2-3 people getting dressed/undressed. Pro: The waiting area was relaxing, including infused water and three trailmix type snacks. We ordered a cup of hot tea and it came on a nice serving tray with honey. Although, there was nowhere to put your tray/drink once done. We just sat it in our seat when we left. Pro: My massage with Zach was probably top three massages I’ve ever had. It was the perfect pressure and he massages hands and feet just a bit differently, hitting different pressure points. Pro: My facial was top-notch as well. I felt she really took the time to look at my skin and provided a very relaxing, rehydrating facial. I also purchased a recommended face serum based on her recommendation. Con: when checking out, we were informed a 20% gratuity has been added but we had an option to adjust. This should be left the card scanner so it can be done discreetly. Of course we left 20%, but it would have been awkward to suggest a tip less than 20% if the services reflected that.

But the restrooms and relaxation rooms were freezing, I never got the hot tea they offered me, and the bathrooms were dirty and had overflowing trash cans. Wasn’t the usual standard I expect for how much I’m paying!

Chrissy did an excellent job on the massage. I really don’t think I had a good massage with hot towels for along time. Very professional and very respectful. I couldn’t get over how knowledgeable she was about ways that I can help myself get back naturally prior to a very stressful time in my life. The atmosphere is so calming and extremely clean. Spa Reservations
To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Spa Arrivals
To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. The Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Spa Requirements/Age Restricitons
So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa. Most Woodhouse Spa services are reserved for adults to preserve a relaxing spa environment.
All services: Guests must be 18 years or older, unless noted below.
Facials: Guests 16+ may receive a facial with a parent or legal guardian present in the spa for the entire service (in another service or the relaxation room). The parent/guardian must check in with the minor and remain on property.
Alcohol is available to guests 21+ only. Valid ID may be required at any time.
Woodhouse Spa reserves the right to limit or decline services for underage guests.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and The Woodhouse Day Spa Gift Cards. The Woodhouse Day Spa® gift card contains value which may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Prices vary by spa and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. This card is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and The Woodhouse Day Spa® is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit.
There will be a $50.00 fee each time a check is returned as well as any incurred charges for collection of payment owed.
Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In keeping with The Woodhouse Vision, purity and quality are essential elements in our skin and body care products. In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.
What is reflexology?
A relaxing take on the traditional art of reflexology, this service begins with a shea butter and sugar exfoliation of the feet. Pressure is then applied to specific reflex points on the feet, relieving stress, inducing deep relaxation and bringing balance to the entire body.
How does reflexology differ from a foot massage? Massage is the manipulation of tissues to relax the muscles, relieve tension and improve circulation. This can improve overall health and well-being.
Reflexology uses a targeted pressure point massage to restore the flow of energy throughout the body. Beyond the feel-good effects of the treatment the practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles. Kneading the soft fleshy ball of the foot, pulling on the toes, tracing around the heel and pushing deep into the arch of the foot are just a few of the movements your experience during a treatment,.
Benefits of Reflexology? With repeated pressure and manipulation of nerve endings in the feet, reflexology can help to clear any channels of blocked energy in the body. It is said to do so by moving the flow of blood , nutrients and nerve impulses.
Before Your Facial
Can I book a facial or HydraFacial right after Botox or fillers?
For your safety and comfort, we ask that you wait at least 7 days after injectables before booking a facial, and 14 days before scheduling a HydraFacial.
Do I need to stop using retinol before my facial?
Yes. Please discontinue the use of retinol or other strong active skincare products a few days to one week before your appointment.
What if I am currently taking Accutane?
Facials cannot be performed until 6 months after completing Accutane, and HydraFacials require 12 months post-treatment.
Can I book a HydraFacial if I recently had a chemical peel?
We recommend waiting 15–30 days after a chemical peel before scheduling a HydraFacial.
Are facials safe if I have a fever blister or cold sore?
Unfortunately, facials and HydraFacials cannot be performed if you have an active fever blister or cold sore. Please wait until it has fully healed before booking.
