- DDDannieJan 2, 20261.0My birthday was in December and by the time my day came, the birthday gifts were out of stock online so I came in store. The employees there that day said that I could come back January 2nd immediately after new years and they’ll be restocked and I could choose a gift. January 2nd is here, I come in and I asked the first employee I saw with the glasses. She said that they only do points as far as she knows and she can’t give me a gift but told me to get in line to try anyways. So I was got in line and waited for a WHILE. When I got there, the SAME lady with the glasses was cashier and said no gift for me. Then proceeded to tell me to go back in the long line and wait and see if I could get the other cashier so I can ask her if I’m able to get my gift. Then she just called the next in line. I am not exaggerating when I say that I have NEVER been to a Sephora and been treated this poorly. I just walked out quietly. I didn’t feel like making a scene, I don’t even want my points anymore, not worth it.

I usually just get my gift online but I decided to do it in person this time. The person that helped us had glasses and she wasn’t helpful she lied to us and said that they had no free gifts. Mind you I had $100 of a Sephora gift card that I was gonna spend, but I didn’t because of her. We told this black lady that worked there about what happened and she was super nice and told us that they did in fact had the free gifts and how to get them. They really should fire people that don’t have people skills or costumer service.

Either the associates look at you as if they do not want to help you or they have all eyes on you as if you’re about to steal. I do not appreciate entering a retail establishment where I’m going to be spending my hard earned money and feeling uncomfortable. Unacceptable!

She made me feel so comfortable and even though I have no idea how to do makeup, she never made me feel dumb she was encouraging and recommended a handful of products for me to use. I was able to do my own makeup for my sunrise wedding and it was such a confidence boost. I would recommend Hannah for lessons!! 10/10! She’s the best!
