After chemo and radiation, she shaved her head, but was unable to get even in the back- she had a Mohawk. We simply needed a 2 minute buzz cut to even out her desperate attempt to “die a tad prettier”. The wait was 76 min; my mother, visibly frail, and visibly very ill, half a shaved head, in 13 degree weather was told she needed to wait an hour and half. She just wanted a professional hair cut. Hospice moves in this week. We found a competing salon who very happily and quickly saved the day. No customer was offended by the extra 2 min. it took to slide her in and get her out. I’m grateful for the kindness she saw elsewhere but you deserve to hear how STUPID and insensitive you were. Let’s pretend you didn’t notice….i mention this as a possibility, because you were extremely rude and lacked the customer service to even look up while communicating. Rudely demanding without even glancing up to greet the customer- “HAVE YOU SIGNED IN?” Let’s start with “hi, how are you? Have you signed in? And maybe some eye contact or an attempt to pretend to look up an acknowledge us. This establishment needs to reevaluate who represented them today.
