  Went for my first appointment with Marina yesterday for a simple eyebrow waxing. It was a pretty bad experience. Marina was unprofessional and unorganized. She hardly acknowledged me, didn’t ask any questions about what I would like done, and hurt me. Walking into the appointment I was already confused because the door was locked and you had to ring a doorbell for her to open it up for you. I waited outside so she could stop her service and let me in. No big deal but she hardly greeted me, asked for my name and for me to fill out forms. There was no pen, she said I would fill them out later but never did. She had over booked herself and I ended up waiting almost 20 minutes for my appointment. When I finally went back there she was frantic about messing up her books, which I understand. She told me to lay on the table and immediately started putting wax on me, hardly asking anything about my preferred shape. She ended up getting wax in my hair somehow and was oiling it, yanking my hair trying to get it out and it was painful. She somehow got it on top of my head and also on the hair surrounding my ears. She was apologetic, but it hurt and i ended up having to comb wax out of my hair at home because she couldn't get it all out. I was pulling hair out of my head. The wax itself was fine. A little expensive at $15. She didn't tweeze any stray hairs or trim the hairs at all. She didn't even really examine them once she was done. I was nervous to look at the final result. It wasn't terrible but my eyebrows are not the same shape at all and do have some stray hairs that should ve been taken care of. I explained to her I hadn't waxed my eyebrows in a long time and was really wanting to get back to a uniform shape... I'm not sure I'll return. In response to owner: Not sure how I could be happy with my service when you didn’t even lend me a mirror to look at it. You didn’t even examine your work when you were done. I gave you a tip because I only had cash on me and wanted to leave after such an awful experience. I hope your waxing skills get improved.

  I’ve had the experience of working with Marina and I am more than thrilled with my results. With my previous tech I was often left with large scabs and the progress was slow. I’ve been to a handful of sessions with Marina and she is incredibly fast but effective and I’ve had limited scabbing and no scabbing at all in some places. If you’re looking for someone who is fast, effective and professional - CHOOSE Marina! I couldn’t be happier and nothing can replace the feeling of being ready for my next steps in life.   I have been seeing Marina for 2 1/2 years now & she’s so wonderful. I bought a 6 month package deal for laser hair removal and I was not satisfied with the results at all,they even gave me a free session to try and get me to renew again,my results with Marina are fantastic.She’s fast,professional ,accommodating,friendly,virtually pain free & LGBT friendly.Her clinic is very clean and welcoming.If you’re looking for a knowledgeable Electrolysist Marina is the one, I recommend her to everyone I know that’s looking to get hair removal.And T-GIRLS she is very experienced on your needs, I know because I am one. I’m extremely pleased with her services and would never go anywhere else! You’re the best.
