There is no expectation to this rule. I recently decided that life was too boring and I needed to make a poor choice so I decided to roll the dice by going to the Fairview great clips and test my luck. I wanted the pressure of the 15% and 85% rule as I had mentioned earlier. To add to the pressure I was going back to college next week and I had an important date the week I got back. As they say pressure makes diamonds and I was feeling it. As I was chewing the fat with my hair stylist I immediately knew I was cooked when she revealed she had been cutting hair for less that a year. I immediately started sweating, she didn’t even need to use a spray bottle on my hair because I was sweating so bad. To my surprise the haircut lasted about 10 minutes, I watched as she started cutting my sides higher and higher, digging a deeper hole. After she was done I knew there was nothing she could do to fix what she had done. I thanked her and still gave her a good tip. It wasn’t her fault I had chose to play the game of great clips roulette she is actually the reason why the great clips of Fairview is what it is, without the 85% chance of getting a terrible haircut, a good haircut is nothing more than a good haircut. But with that 85% chance of getting the worst haircut ever the 15% of the time you get a good haircut you will have entered nirvana.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
