- CSCatalina ShopeSep 24, 20251.0I want to make a shout out to the “hair dresser” Lauren at the GreatClips next to Food City that butchered my kids hair today. All she wanted was her undercut refreshed and a little higher. Her hair is thick and the undercut was about 1.5 inches. She walked out with 60% of her hair gone. At first she didn’t make a straight line and then was ripping apart her curls to make the part. The she began to cut and I had to stop her because it wasn’t straight. Multiple times I had to help make a straight line and she would ask me “is it straight?” DONT THEY TEACH YOU TO MAKE STRAIGHT LINES IN COSMOTOLOGY SCHOOL?!!! Needless to say my middle schooler is crushed. She has been trying to grow her hair longer and now it is this. Beyond pissed. If you can’t do something then dont do it or speak up!! We usually go to Chance at this location because she is amazing. But we took a chance as she wasn’t there. This Lauren usually works at the Publix location. No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
