  I went to Sephora on 01Nov2025 with my daughter to look for a lip stain. We were told the Sephora brand was 30% off, so that's where we looked, as we hardly wear makeup and wasn't trying to spend a fortune. When we went to check out, the cashier asked for my email. I told her I didn't have a Sephora account. She offered to sign me up, and I told her this was the first time this year, I was wearing makeup, and I never shop here. Then she says that the 30% off is only for the Sephora club/membership, whatever it is; I told her ok, then I guess I'm not getting the 30% off. She continues to ask for my email; I should have walked out at this point; I reiterated that this was a one time purchase and I wouldn't be back. She then sticks this handheld device within INCHES of my face and demands that I enter an email address, just to see if I'm in the system. I once again said no. She then says, "what's a good telephone number, just to see if you're in the system". I KNOW I'm not in your system, stop asking! She is refusing to finish the transaction, until I give her a number. I gave her an old cell number from 2006, and finally finished the transaction. I understand that retail sales also include signing people up for clubs/rewards/email assaults as part of your working day. And if you're like a company I worked for, you're graded by store and by district for these sign ups; but when a customer has told you NUMEROUS TIMES, NO! Understand this: NO MEANS NO! You'll never get customers to come back like this.

  Service here is a joke every rare visit 😂 I'll just stay at Ulta. I was waiting SECOND in line for not even 30 seconds to ask a question and the cashier said "you can ask 2 of my other co workers in the front for help. As you can see I'm with a customer". I know?? Im patiently waiting?? Yalls transaction is almost done? And fyi, you personally told me to come to you for assistance like 2 minutes ago 😅 So i have to go chase down the 2 employees that looked me dead in the eye when passing and didnt offer help? Okay. Even the lady in front of me gave me a weird expression about that exchange.

  I hardly went to Kohl’s yet I was always satisfied to go there to see Sephora and to pick up my annual supplies of every day skincare products. Sephora in Clarksville was my place to go to pick up my beauty & skincare products. It was never crowded and the staff was always helpful.

  I visited the store yesterday with my sister to help her pick out a birthday gift and I asked for a single sample of a hair care product. Unfortunately, the employee Kayla was not friendly and made me feel uncomfortable as if I was asking for something unreasonable. I returned today to pick up a perfume I had ordered online and asked for a couple of samples of different products. The employee who assisted me today was kind and accommodating at first. However, while she was preparing the samples, Kayla walked over and whispered something to her. When I received the samples, there was barely anything in them definitely not enough for even one full use. I noticed that several employees were standing around talking to each other, and I had to wait in line just to get someone’s attention for help. I am very disappointed with the level of customer service I experienced on both visits.
