I want to preface that this review has nothing to do with the staff encounters I've had at this store, they are always great!
The rep who was based at this store has been gone for quite some time (over a year, maybe two at this point) but if that position has been filled then they have never bothered to step foot into my salon. I went from monthly check-ins to radio silence.
I have also voiced my concerns in the past about the inventory at this store needing to be addressed. Since SalonCentric is owned by L'Oreal you would think they would have plenty of stock specifically in that color line but I can rarely find what I need in store and often times half of my cart via the app is out of stock or unavailable.
I'm also disappointed to see more and more of these "professional" brands readily available to the public at larger stores like Ulta and Sephora. It doesn't feel like SalonCentric supports professionals like they used to. It's very hard for small businesses to retail products that can be found elsewhere for LESS than the recommended markup.
I would also like to know why prices are higher than ever, salons and stylists are spending hundreds, if not nearing $1k+ dollars at a time in store only to be told we can PURCHASE bags to carry bulky color boxes, heavy developer bottles, boxes of foils, gloves, large and heavy backbar sized shampoos and conditioners, etc.. Providing bags at a store where items need to be carried out seems to be a no brainer, but what do I know.
