The stylist who cut my daughter’s hair didn’t ask how short I wanted it she just started cutting, said she was doing a ‘cute girl hairstyle,’ and ended up taking off much more than I asked. I’ve been carefully maintaining her hair myself, and I only wanted a trim. Another stylist combed through my son’s curly hair with very little water, which made detangling rough and uncomfortable. Proper care for curly textures is important, and it was clear they weren’t knowledgeable. The whole visit felt rushed, dismissive, and unprofessional. I left shaken and upset, and I’m sharing this so it doesn’t happen to other families.
