Probably one of the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I'm not sure if the hairdresser even know what she was doing. Came in for a simple mid-fade haircut, came out with a mix of bowlcut and a kid haircut. I never have any problem like this with other places that I've been to. The store need to do some skills check on regular basis because this is absolutely ridiculous.

TL:DR - Many great experiences, but recent one that really, really sucked. I have gone to this location for years and have almost always had great experiences, which is why this one was so upsetting. I came in on Friday, 1/9/2026 around 4:00 PM with butt-length hair I have been growing for over five years. It was previously all one length except for my bangs. I stated multiple times that I wanted only one inch removed and emphasized how important preserving length was to me. I even told the stylist I didn't want to get my haircut because I hate to cut even the smallest amount, but knew I needed it. The stylist (braces, dark hair) confirmed my request for one-inch off, and even showed me the inch she planned to cut, referring to the technique as a “point cut.” I agreed, because I had no technical knowledge of what that meant. The haircut was done from behind while the stylist was crouched, so I couldn't see what she was doing in the mirror. I was not shown the result before leaving the salon, but trusted it would be fine like every other time I get my hair cut at Great Clips. When I got home, I discovered that the shortest pieces of my hair were now around twelve inches shorter than before. This was not what I agreed to and is not reversible. The cut itself may be technically okay, but the stylist cut my hair without my informed consent. I understand this might sound dramatic, but as someone who LOVED her hair, and who really has a hard time wanting to get it cut at all, I was devastated to realize what happened after the fact. This review is not about the salon overall. I have had many good experiences here, but about this specific haircut and the need for clearer confirmation before major length changes. I have included pictures of what my hair looked like before and a few of what it looks like now. The photo captioned "what my hair looks like now :(" is not me, but somewhat similar, if you can imagine more chopped off and more layers. My hair is now too short and thin in the front to hide my face, and scribbling over it like I did with the before picture is not feasible because there is so much layering happening I couldn't draw it out without covering the part that makes it look so bad. To the stylist's credit, I was very happy with my bangs, she did a great job on those. But I am truly just devastated to lose my hair which I love SO much when it was totally avoidable.
