- DLDavid LawApr 2, 20261.0I'd give ZERO if I could. My mother went in to get the back of her neck cleaned up. She was quoted $8. The manager, a white woman covered in tattoos said it would be $20, the cost of a full haircut; this was after the trim had begun. My mother paid the $20 because what else could she do? This is a 82 year old woman on a tight fixed income. If you're willing to give my mother her $12 back I'll retract the review. Until then, buyers be warned. This establishment takes advantage of older people. Get your haircut elsewhere. This is the Great Clips in Murrells Inlet, on the Bypass, next to Dominoes pizza.

Sadly they really don't care, it is a hair cutting factory with no concern for quality!! Oh and she would not all the $9.99 price because I did not have the coupon that they mailed to me (that was not my purpose in going yesterday I just was in need of a trim)! NEVER again!!
- ZZZMar 25, 20261.0Really crazy to pay $85 at Great Clips. I came in because I physically couldn’t wash my own hair after breaking bones in my foot. I just needed something simple and quick. I was seen right away, which I appreciated, and I was told there would be extra charges. Fine. But $85 total for a basic wash, a straight across trim (about 1.5 inches), and a rough blow dry not even styled, is excessive. Charging $55 just to dry hair without any styling is honestly unreasonable. I understand paying for services, but this felt way out of proportion for what was actually done.
