- KBKristie Beale3 days ago1.0My son went in for a haircut, I discussed with the stylist that we wanted, a burst mullet. I called earlier in the day to ensure someone was available to do it that afternoon and I was assured there was. When I confirmed what he wanted with the stylist, she assured me she knew what she was doing. My son wanted to keep his length for his mullet and fade up around the ears, simple enough, right?! The stylist did a 4 all over and chopped all his hair off, no fade whatsoever. He left upset and crying and she said she did what was asked. I have been a long time Great Clips customer but no longer will I take him there. We had to go to another salon, not Great Clips, to fix his fade because it wasn't done properly.

She barely spoke to me other than telling me how to lean/turn. I paid for both haircuts with cash because we prefer to use cash when leaving tips. She (same woman who cut my hair) seemed a bit annoyed about dealing with cash, and mentioned that she was used to people paying with cards. I am rating two stars because the haircuts are okay, and the stylist who cut my husband's hair was nicer.

Well, that changed about two years ago when Suzy at Great Clips Lexington Place cut my hair. Now… I try to only go days she is there and I’ll gladly wait for a spot in her chair. She’s friendly, polite, and professional. And, she always does a fantastic job!

Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
