- KDKimberly DavenportMay 20, 20241.0I was hoping to save a bit and switch from ULTAs fabulous service, yet $60 Fondation,to Sephora after a friend highly recommended them. I would not recommend this specific location if you get the employee I had last night on 5/19. It took her about 10 minutes to assist me, and no one else was at the beauty area. She asked if I needed help. I needed to find a foundation match to my current Estee Lauder, but she said she didn't know. She also said she wasn't very familiar with the Sephora brand and "they didn't teach us that." As a former assistant manager and trainer, you NEVER state these types of comments. You are polite and call for help. Your customer is your priority. I ended up shade matching myself and feeling rushed, and ended up being the wrong match. I will be returning this, at my transportation expense again, due to the failure of this employee. They are supposed to offer shade matching and wonderful customer service. The only thing she did try to do was sell me another product. Please get her back into training. She makes the beauty department look horrible and not knowledgeable. Contact me for any info. Kim Wegener. I will offer Sephora one chance to correct this when I return the item and will adjust the rating accordingly

Then went to the register to purchase some things and she never walked up. We put our things back and went next door to Ulta…same products and better service. Nice store but bad service is not for me.

I have worked in retail for my entire life so I know what great service is and I wish more young people knew how to provide this level of care and appreciation to all paying customers. Job well done and you have a loyal customer for life!! #settingthebarhigh I had another great experience at this location from Destiny. She helped me find a lip scrub and lip mask as well as a foundation to match my skin tone. I need more employees at other places to be that willing to provide exceptional quality of service. I spend my money where I am appreciated and valued! Please reward those employees that make your customer come back again and again!
