I stopped by Sephora today to check out some new fragrances, and Bri absolutely hooked me up! She was incredibly sweet and so helpful, walking me through different perfume brands and explaining the differences. I learned so much from her, and she made the whole experience so enjoyable. Let’s just say… I now have about 10 perfumes on my wish list! Thank you, Bri!

I had a horrible experience in this Sephora today. I’m pregnant and my skin has recently changed. I don’t feel comfortable in my skin and my husband brought me to get a few products to help me feel a little better about myself. We found an employee to help, Sam, and she was awful. First she questioned my skin care routine and after I reiterated that the acne is new, I am content with the routine I have to try to keep it managed. I told her I was here for a concealer and foundation. She insisted on going through a whole skin care routine and told me all of my make up problems are from not doing skin care right. After a 10 minute lesson that felt condescending, I asked again to see foundation and concealer. She took me to the concealer that I had named specifically saying I didn’t want. I told her how I had JUST bought it from a different store and it was cakey, made my skin look drier and didn’t blend well with the foundation I had gotten with it. She commented that “this is the best concealer we have for your skin, you were probably not applying it right, or your skin care routine isn’t helping” I then insisted on trying something else and she grabbed the closest concealer in arms reach and handed it to me. By the time she was “color matching” me I had begun crying. She didn’t say anything, comment or comfort me. We ended up buying 3 products (one skin care that I didn’t feel I needed) because we felt pressured. I literally walked out of the store in full on tears. Actively crying. I admit that I’m hormonal from the pregnancy but I have never been that tearful that easily. I walked out feeling talked down to and made to feel like I was stupid. My husband felt awful because he had brought me there hoping to help me feel beautiful in my own skin again. I will be returning the products, but probably to another store…I’m too embarrassed to walk back into this one.

After years of shopping at Sephora, I had to make my first return because a team member talked me into, and pressured me to buy, a makeup shade I would normally never choose. When I got home and tried to use it, I immediately realized it did not match my skin tone at all. It was completely the wrong shade. I’m a VIB member and assumed I could simply return it the next time I went to the mall. I had no idea there was a 30-day return window, and they wouldn’t even offer store credit — even though one of their team members is the reason I’m in this situation. I live 35 minutes away from the mall, so it’s not easy for me to go there frequently. I truly feel the team could have done more to help and make this right. I will never go back to this Sephora — not only because the team was unhelpful, but also because the store is too small, always packed, and the employees don’t seem to know what they’re talking about. They pressure you and make you feel like they know more than you do. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Sephora.

Approached 2 different associates. Rude and not helpful. When I asked for help, I was met with a huge sigh and an eye roll by each of them. Must be a culture tolerated by their manager. If you aren’t a supermodel or an influencer I guess they aren’t interested in your money.
