- NWNatalie WelanetzMar 12, 20261.0I had a very frustrating experience at Restore Wellness. I scheduled an appointment for an infusion with Toradol and Zofran to treat a barometric headache. When I arrived, the nurse told me that the corporate NP would not approve treatment for headaches without consent. She even said, “I was afraid this would happen.” I have managed chronic headaches for over 15 years and specifically sought this treatment because it has worked well for me in the past. Unfortunately, I was told this only after arriving for my appointment while actively dealing with a severe headache. What’s confusing is that these medications are commonly marketed and given in wellness settings for general discomfort or hangover symptoms, yet someone with a long history of chronic headaches was denied care. If corporate policies restrict certain treatments, that information should be communicated during scheduling so patients are not turned away after arriving in pain. I hope Restore improves transparency with their policies so other patients do not have the same experience.
