- MJMichelle JenkinsJan 17, 20261.0I’m new to Lush and have seen several people raving about it on TikTok so I decided to try it out myself. In January 17 2026 my sister and I decided to go to the store. This was the worst visit ever. We were treated as if we were going to steal something. We were being followed around and told no if we asked for a sample of something. We were so uncomfortable and shocked at how we were being treated. As we were about to leave a store associate came in from her break. Her name is Mya. She was the sweetest and most adorable person in the entire store. She smiled and was so courteous. She was able to answer all of our questions and get us a few samples that I had asked about earlier. This made us stay longer and shop. Because of Mya and her knowledge on the products I made a purchase of a shampoo bar and a few other items. Mya was then called to a gossip group with the other employees and when I asked her to come over and asked for a sample of a liquid shampoo she told me she couldn’t. I felt the discomfort in her voice when she told no. I’m assuming the other employees had told her not to give me a sample. This alone makes me never want to return to Lush ever again. I will be returning everything I purchased for a refund. It’s so easy to spend $100-$200 in this store. To me that’s a lot of money and I don’t appreciate the profiling, rudeness of staff members, and being lied to about not being able to get a sample when on Lush website in clearly states that a sample of anything can be received by asking a store associate. Count your days Lush with this type of customer service.
