  I am very disappointed with my recent experience. I received a Sephora Favorites Scent Certificate as a graduation gift. When I received it, there was no expiration date indicated. A year later, I went to redeem it at the store and was told it had expired. Paula at the store advised me to call customer service because they were the only ones who could override the certificate. When I called, I was told nothing could be done. The store associate admitted she told me to call because she didn’t want to deal with the issue. I was then passed around to three different numbers—Kohl’s said to call Sephora, and Sephora said to call Kohl’s—only to be told that the $75 value is simply lost. My daughter paid $75 for this gift, and now I’m being told there is no resolution. This is unacceptable. I am extremely upset and will not be spending any more money with Sephora in the future.

  Worst Sephora experience I’ve ever had. And I’m so shocked because I always have a good experience from the Columbiana store or Forest Acres store so I was like let me try the Two Notch one since it’s closer to me. Nope never again. Customer service was trash. I never once was asked if I needed help as you can clearly walk near me and see me struggling to find my foundation match. I had to go up to one of the employees and ask for a skin test and he proceeds to tell me that they only do it at the forest acres location, which is fine but still he makes it seem like it would be too much of a task for him to even try to help me and basically gave me a dry response and didn’t even ask if I still wanted help with anything else. Then the other employees proceed to talk amongst themselves even though there were other customers in the store who clearly needed assistance. I would’ve asked him again but I could feel the attitude across the room and just bought the concealer I always get and left. They really should get retraining for customer service skills. This happened at 4-4:30pm 07/30/24

  WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I recently visited Sephora for the first time and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I was in the store for 30 minutes and never received any assistance. When I finally asked for help, the staff gave me an attitude and a very dry response. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I would give zero stars if I could. I will definitely be sticking to shopping at Ulta from now on.

  Location is always out of travel sizes and customer service doesn’t show any empathy towards their customers. Either you need a better location and better inventory.
