We were told our total would be “about $250.” I even asked for clarification, specifically asking if that was the total for both of us, and was told yes. When we checked out, however, we were charged 280 dollars each. The staff did not clearly or deliberately explain the pricing at any point. They failed to tell us that earrings were priced individually rather than as a pair, even though they presented them as pairs while we were choosing. Each single earring was 95 dollars, which was never disclosed. They also did not explain that the piercing fee was 50 dollars per hole instead of 50 dollars for both ears. These details were not misheard or misunderstood they simply were not communicated. And after asking multiple times they still did not communicate the prices accurately. To make matters worse, they did not give us a receipt at checkout. We only discovered the true amount charged after seeing it on our grandmother’s account. Because they have customers pay only after being pierced, it becomes almost impossible to question the price or request a refund once the service is done. Overall, the lack of clear communication and upfront pricing created an experience that felt misleading. On top of the pricing issues, both of us are now experiencing significant pain because the bars they used were far too short. This has caused unnecessary discomfort and swelling that could have been avoided if appropriate jewelry had been used.
