  I booked a couples service at Charleston Thai Massage and came in excited, especially because I’ve had Thai massages before and usually love the experience. Unfortunately, this was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing sessions I’ve ever had. From the start, there was an excessive amount of hot towel wiping — not just once or twice, but repeatedly on every limb, back, and body area. The towels were already cooling by the time they were used, and it became so disruptive that I eventually had to ask them to please stop. I’ve never in my life felt the need to say that during a service. Both therapists talked back and forth throughout the session — small talk, giggling, and side conversations that made it impossible to relax. I asked multiple times if I could please just relax, but the chatter kept happening. For my partner’s session, the steamer alarm went off four or five times because it didn’t seem like the therapist knew how to operate it. She also wasn’t prepared for his facial and kept digging through products loudly to find things. During my own massage, my therapist dropped the oil bottle on the floor several times — and because the building carries sound, it echoed loudly each time. The flow of the service kept getting interrupted. At one point, during a stretch, she lost her grip and yanked my knee. She apologized, but it genuinely hurt and is still sore. I’ve had many massages and facials over the years, and I always try to be understanding — but this session was so inconsistent, loud, and uncomfortable that I found myself wishing the 90-minute service had been only 60 minutes. This experience was far from relaxing, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.

  the absolute worst massage i’ve ever had. it was painful, extremely rushed, and no care what so ever. i pointed out a spot that was really bothering me and im not even sure she touched it. i’m in more pain than what i was when i first walked in. im pretty sure i have a rubbing rash on my back for how fast and hard she was on my back. i would 0-10 recommend

  I highly recommend Charleston Thai Massage!!!!! Best deep tissue massage I have ever had IN MY LIFE. Ant was incredible and was so sweet. I am 6.5 months pregnant and she took great care of me. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the massage and staff here!!!!

  If you are tired and want to relax, I recommend you come here. It is clean, with warm welcome. It's amazing!! 😍There are all kinds of massages I enjoy massages and relaxation along the lines of my body I recommend Ant😂, who is a therapist here She is funny and fun to talk to, and she does a good job of pressing points on my body🙏🏻

  This was my first time doing a Thai massage and they really helped my soreness and pain. The massage had great pressure and Pualla my massage therapist was extremely thorough and helpful. Ambiance was relaxing, staff were incredibly sweet and respectful. The price I paid was well worth it and I will be back again. Loved the experience!
