Her computer at the front didn't work either, I couldn't see my name listed on it. Lady working was not friendly. She said that Great Clips are not connected, they are owned by different owners. I understand that, but I have been to Great Clips in Aiken SC, Franklin NC, Augusta GA, and they all did fine and saw me in there. Probably won't be back again at this location.

The stylist was rude, rolled her eyes at me, and addressed me in a very disrespectful way — even calling me “hey.” I came in with my two boys, and unfortunately, their haircuts were rushed and poorly done. The way I was treated — especially because I speak with an accent — made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No one should be made to feel this way. I hope the staff gets proper training on professionalism and respect toward all customers, regardless of background.

Paid attention to detail when he gave my boyfriend a skin fade. Took his time and made sure everything was as requested. Excellent service from him! HOWEVER, the older lady with the terrible attitude needs to find a job more suited for her that doesn't involve people. I did not come in for a haircut, only to wait for my partner, as I have been growing my hair out for a year. I decided to sit in a chair with a picture in hand explaining what I wanted. She took a glance at the photo and put the apron on, proceeding to keep my back to the mirror THE ENTIRE TIME! It was as if she wanted ZERO interaction or judgement about her styling so I had to look towards the waiting room (by the way was highly uncomfortable). She did show me with a small mirror at the end but never ONCE using the big mirror on the wall... My partner made a simple comment (ACTUALLY COMPLIMENTING her work) and she took it as some sort of attack where she rudely dismissed his comments and said she was "done talking to him" which she clearly meant... Lastly, she completed cuts on mine and another guy's hair in the time my partner was finished. Please have some more appreciation for your skills and make people feel welcome instead of a burden to your day, ma'am . My partner will be back for Daryl (sorry if I messed up your name) but I won't be returning.
- APA PAug 25, 20252.0I went to the Great Clips at Lady's Island Crossing in Beaufort the week of 8/18/25. The lady had an attitude as soon as she looked at me. I felt like she wished I hadn't even come there. There was very little conversation because I felt she really didn't want to cut my hair. She used the blow dryer at the end and blew hair on my shoes. When she unbuttoned the apron she didn't cut hair on the back of my neck. It took maybe five minutes to cut my hair. I didn't ask her to cut my eyebrows or any else extra and she wasn't going to offer anything. She clearly doesn't like people that look like me.
