  Nurse Devin gave us the best experience piercing my 3 year olds ear. Gentle and caring made sure I was ok with the holes before she pierced the holes and got another nurse to help so my daughter had both ears at once. I couldn’t believe my toddler didn’t even cry. Super thorough explaining the after care process, clean environment, knowledgeable staff, fast, and a cute selection of earrings to choose from. Highly recommended Rowan.

  This place is amazing. My daughter (5) has been asking to get her ears pierced for a year but gets scared every time we have gone in to try other places. Jen made her feel so comfortable. Not only are the earrings beautiful, but the process was remarkable. She even explained to my daughter how to clean her hands before touching her ears. We did do device piercing due to a needle fear, but my daughter said it hardly even hurt. Perfect placement, perfect service, great jewelry. She really didn't even flinch, was smiling the whole time, and was jumping for joy when it was all done. I highly recommend!!

  Horrible. Waited an hour for an appointment for my daughter and an appointment for myself. The woman refused to do a high ear piercing in my 9 year old because it’s “her discretion” even though it’s completely legal. then when my daughter said she would just do her second lobes instead the lady told me I would need to give up my appointment for my own piercing to have the time to do both sides of hers… when it’s just one appointment for lobes…they were just running so behind she lied about it taking too long. when I asked the manager after she said that’s not true and now we just wasted an hour and I did not get my piercing. The woman behind the counter just said “sorry” didn’t offer to have my appointment honored or anything. So incredibly disappointing for both of us. Ruined our experience.

  We waited an hour after the appointment time to be seen and probably spent double the amount than any other place. I would not recommend Rowan.

  I will give them one star because the nurse was very polite and the store was very clean. I decided to go with them because I wanted the assurance my baby will get the best experience in the hands of a nurse. First, she took a good 10 min trying to find the correct placement for the piercing. I found this a bit weird because she kept asking for my opinion. They were way off and she knew that. I ended up taking the marker myself and placing the dot. They didn’t have a big earring selection for babies but I picked the little diamond flowers. We even purchased the after care spray. My daughters ears became extremely infected and I made sure to clean them at least 3x a day. I even took matters into my own hands and removed the earring and washed her ears with antibacterial soap at least twice a day. I called the place and I voiced my concerns. I told her that I think the earring is the problem and that I didn’t think they were real gold even though she assured me they were (even on the phone) I told her that the back of the earrings had discoloration and were almost tarnishing. She told me I can bring her in so she can clean her ears? I have been doing that. I asked if she can replace the earrings for other ones and I will even pay the difference. Nope. I went to the jewelry store and purchased her real gold ones and the infection went away the next day. Be very careful if you are getting your babies ears pierced here. The earrings are nottttttt real gold as advertised.
