    The older employees at this Sephora are very cold and rude. I was there this Saturday , no smile or welcoming attitude. She made no effort to assist me and kept talking to her colleagues. I get better service with the young staff. I will avoid this store . Also, if you’re working in the beauty industry I suggest you get your roots done Miss Marisa.

    After many negative experiences at this Sephora store, I’m writing my first review because I genuinely don’t think I will ever be stepping foot in the Carrefour Laval location again. The store is consistently chaotic and disorganized — low stock, empty testers, messy displays, and products not in their correct places — and there are almost never more than one or two beauty advisors on the floor, who appear overwhelmed, making the shopping experience stressful rather than enjoyable. On my most recent visit, I waited approximately 20 minutes in line to return an unused and unopened gift set purchased during the extended holiday return period. When I explained to the store representative, and then to the manager (a short, white, blonde-haired woman whom other reviewers have also mentioned), that the delay in my return was due to the recent passing of my dog and the fact that I was not mentally in a place to leave the house, the response from both lacked empathy or flexibility. I was repeatedly told that the only option was an in-store credit, despite clearly stating that I do not want to shop in store at this time. I asked to escalate the situation beyond the manager, at which point she told me there was no escalation beyond her and that her decision was final. This later proved to be inaccurate. When I contacted Sephora customer service afterward, the representative was far more empathetic and informed me that there is an in-store form that can be submitted to a supervisor above the store manager — something that was never offered or disclosed to me during my visit. The customer service representative also noted my situation and advised that the gift card could be converted for online use, further highlighting how poorly this location handled the situation. I am not someone who frequently returns items, and I have spent hundreds of dollars at Sephora over many years, which made the dismissive and misleading treatment even more disappointing. What once set Sephora apart was its customer care, loyalty, and flexibility — and unfortunately, this Carrefour Laval store reflects poor management, inflexible policies, and a lack of compassion. Officially boycotting Sephora as of 2026.

    Untrained staff, my wife went for an exchange and the cashier did a return on the Credit card except of putting money on the store credit and the funds got blocked in the CC, my wife didn't had the other cards with her, so she left with no products. The manager told us with a smile that she is sorry that it was their fault the funds will be back in 5 days 😀😆. Disappointing

    So today I needed a new foundation so I placed a pickup order because I know how long the lines are at Sephora. I arrive there and walk up to an employee staring into space and tell her that I have a pick up order. She tells me to go stand by the window where it says “Pickup orders” and that she will alert somebody. I thank her and go stand by the window. No one ever came. It took for me to get annoyed for someone to notice that I had been waiting for awhile. Do better.

    C’est le plus pire service que j’ai eu aujourd’hui c’est nul , et surtout surtout la gérante elle est vraiment méchante vilaine une petite de taille avec blond hair , ça se voit qu’elle a des problèmes sérieux , je suis allé pour acheter un parfum aujourd’hui apparemment elles l’ont plus en stock, j’étais servi avec une autre voilée gentille pour passer la commande en ligne , mais la méchante gérante arrêtait pas de me suivre et arrêtait pas de me dire que je ferme dans 3 min alors qu’il restait 10min ,après elle m’a fait avec sa main 🫱🏻 comme sort , s’elle veut pas travailler qu’elle reste chez elle au lieu de vider ses problèmes personnels sur les clientes ou les employees , c’est grave !! vous m’avez perdu même mes amies 😉
