- TUTherese UmerlikDec 18, 20251.0I have patronized this salon for several years but no longer. My preferred stylist left her position, so I decided to make an appointment with Frank. He had a slot open at 7 p.m. November 25, a particularly rainy evening. I arrived on time and endured the worst color, cut, and styling I have ever experienced at this salon. Frank avoided eye contact for the majority of the hour of my appointment. He was reluctant to recommend a color (I was putting a darker color on a lighter color. The end result was a brassy look.) He spent maybe 10 minutes cutting my hair. I asked for a lob and left with an uneven and incomplete haircut, including one side longer than the other. And the styling was simply embarrassing. I would never have allowed a client to leave the salon the way I did. I left him a $35 tip and purchased a $38 product for a total of more than $200 being spent at the salon. I left a voice mail message, explaining my frustration with the shoddy cut, especially having to endure this cut during Thanksgiving. I received a call and set up an appointment but decided not to go. Why would I? As an experienced professional stylist, he should have been able to cut a basic lob. I expected better, and my trust in him was not to be tested again. I went to a stylist in Parkville, MD, Charlie with Elizabeth Jacob Spa and Salon, who corrected the cut and color. I'll be seeing her from now on. Shortino's Salon & Spa, I want my money back for the haircut. It was terrible, and you have lost a client who trusted your salon and recommended it. I don't want a gift card; I don't want any explanation. I am deeply disappointed!

Friendly atmosphere and very talented staff who have a good creative stylish mind. They dyed and cut my hair. The experience was wonderful and has stuck with me as one of the best salons I ever been to my entire life.
