  I would recommend finding a better hair salon. Unfortunately, my experience at Tonic Salon was rocky from the start. The biggest issue was their rigid cancellation policy—life happens, and one cancellation shouldn’t lead to the level of hostility we experienced. Especially a men’s cut my husband canceled due to scheduling issues. Additionally, they intentionally call under the 24-hour cancellation window to “remind” you of your appointment, and if you express that you may need to cancel, they immediately say they’ll have to charge you. What’s the point of calling at all if that’s the case? It left a really negative impression. You would think 5-6+ appointments per year would be enough profit for them to give the courtesy of a cancellation now and then, particularly with the opportunity to just rebook the appointment. Overall professionalism is lacking. On top of that, my stylist repeatedly only offered a full color service. Even after waiting 2+ days to wash my hair, the dye would still transfer during the wash and stain towels when drying. After switching to a higher-quality stylist elsewhere, I learned this shouldn’t be happening; there was minimal to no color transfer, and I was told I’d only need a full color every 6–10 months. In between, I could maintain my color with far less expensive services like a toner or root smudge. Overall, the salon felt more focused on profit than on providing honest guidance or a quality experience. I’d suggest looking for a salon that prioritizes quality, transparency, and long term client relationships.

  I've been going to Blake for ... oh gosh close to the last 10 years and she is a HAIR MAGICIAN. Amazing place, pristine work. Color, extensions, cut, everything!

  My mom took me to Mia after I had some unpleasant experiences at SuperCuts because I have trouble expressing myself. Mia gets me and it’s the first time that I was happy to get my hair cut.

  What's not to love about Tonic Salon? I have been going to Tonic for several years and I've had nothing but the BEST experience from walking in the door to walking out. Steve is my stylist and he always takes the best care of me and my hair. I just went back to extensions and even though I've had them before, Steve took the time to go over everything in detail. Steve is always bettering himself as a stylist and recently took a class on extensions for fine hair. He tried the new technique on my hair, taking his time, meticulously making sure everything worked well and was comfortable. Steve is a true artist. The atmosphere at Tonic is always warm and inviting. Every single staff member treats you with such warmth. If you are looking for a salon with warmth, intregrity, and professionalism, this is it!
