Love this salon! Angel is the best - she listens to what I’m looking for and is meticulous in getting my haircut right. She does a relaxing shampoo/massage, and every couple of visits does a treatment that makes my hair look great. I don’t usually have her do more of a blow dry than using the diffuser a bit, as I let it air dry at home. But my last visit I had her blow it out because I was traveling. It’s like a new me! Note: my hair is shoulder length and wavy/curly, so it’s great having someone who knows how to handle my type of hair.

Overall, a terrific experience! I wanted a blended layer haircut and I showed a few pictures and I got exactly what I was looking for. The haircut was very professional. Jordan did a fantastic job!

I am so glad I found this hidden gem of a salon! I knew I was in great hands when I was able to schedule online and they offered a dry curl cut. Being a first time client the website was super user friendly and I got in the next day! Anyone with curly hair probably has struggled finding a solid curly hair enthusiast hair stylist…but look no further. I found Angel at JJ Stephen’s and I’m so HAPPY, she listened to my past issues, what I like, what I don’t like. What has worked, what hasn’t worked with my hair. She took my comments with the most constructive criticism and found a happy medium. I upgraded my hair cut with to the hair conditioning treatment and it came with one of the best head massages I have ever received. Angel cares and puts all her efforts and experience. Every penny was worth the visit. Thank you for taking care of me Angel, we are back on the road to hair growth! 😊 Angel also waxxed my eyebrows, made sure I knew what she was doing the whole time and like the final product. Angel- thank you for your time and care.

Very pricey hair cuts at $90 with a tip, and he refused to take accountability for a dreadful mistake he made in cutting my hair. The backstory is he cut my hair six times over the course of one year. The first four cuts went well. A day or so after the fifth cut, I realized he had layered my hair, and I mean some very short layers. I did not ask for or consent to this. Nothing had changed with my desired style. I decided there was really nothing I could do because the hair is gone. When I went back for another trim and discussed this with him, thinking he might try to make things right with me, he instead dismissed even the suggestion that he might have layered it and then tried to upsell me on strengthening shampoo ($50 for 10 oz) suggesting the problem was that my hair needed strengthening. That did not fly with me at all and I knew I was done there. It’s been eight months since the bad cut and I still need about four more inches of growth on those layers which were cut. I have since been to a new salon and they confirmed that those layers were in fact cut, not broken and my hair is not weak nor has split ends. Very disappointed but glad that I’m no longer spending so much for a hair cut.
