  I moved here from Nashville four years ago and really missed my hair stylist...until I met Sarah. A friend recommended her and I was sold. Sarah Vollmar is the only person in State College who I trust to color my hair! She knows the best tone for my complexion and she's an ace with cutting and styling my curls. She was borne to do hair and make people feel their best. It's her super power. 🦄

  I can't recommend my stylist, Sarah Vollmar, at Designer’s Denn enough. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and listened to. She really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave thoughtful suggestions that made the final result even better than I could have imagined. I got highlights and a base color done, and the results are absolutely beautiful. Everything blends so naturally and looks so fresh. Her attention to detail, skill, and professionalism truly stand out. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about her clients and delivers amazing results, every time, Sarah V. is your person. I'II definitely be coming back! She also does the best blowouts and her curling technique is amazing!!!

  Sarah is my hair hero! When I moved to State College I visited her with a loose idea (and some pinterest inspo!) of what I wanted and she was able to dial into my style and give me a fantastic haircut. She helped me work out what to do with the color and makes excellent recommendations for my hair texture. She’s such a delight to visit and makes me feel like a rockstar every time. It’s very obvious she cares so much about her clients. She also makes excellent product recommendations based on my hair needs and personal preferences. I cannot recommend her enough!!!!

  Update- now that I’m more settled into State College and have my expert stylist (Melinda), I’m giving Designer’s Den 5 STARS!!! I couldn’t be happier!!! Old post-Just moved to State College and needed to establish a hairstylist. The owner cut my hair perfectly and at reasonable prices. I revisited for a full highlight (by another stylist) which took around 3 hrs and that’s why 4 stars. The color services are meticulous and can be lengthy at times.
