  I was initially very intimidated to go into this store, but upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely sales associate named Lauren, who was very knowledgeable, but also didn't breathe down my neck the whole time. (NOTHING makes me leave a store faster than a sales associate asking if you need help every 5 seconds) when checking out, she saw the product I was getting, and pointed out there was a value bundle, essentially 3 products for the price of two, which I then bought. She also threw in some samples and explained to me the order to use them for best results, which I really appreciate!!! Will absolutely be back, give that gal a raise!!

  Outstanding customer service from Richard! We stepped in to exchange an advent calendar for a set that would be better suited to fly internationally as a gift for a bride. After going back and forth for 20 minutes and asking endless questions, Richard came up with the genius idea to just repackage the products from the advent calendar into a smaller, lighter box since he could tell we were really just wanting to give those specific products as the gift, and weren’t totally satisfied with any of the other available sets. He was so so kind and offered to repackage it himself even tho the store was going to close in a minute. We insisted not to keep him late so he, instead, gave us several sizes of boxes and bags and tissue paper so we can do it. He was so generous that we had to stop him from giving too much. He truly made our day and was one of the best experiences of customer service we’ve had in recent memory!!

  I went less than a week after I received my items to return them, brand new and unopened, at my local L'Occitane store. The manager--who was never there both times I went in, and made an employee communicate with me because she was never there to actually communicate with me herself--refused to accept the items for return because they were "sample sized" (1.7 ounces, for which I paid $15 each). Instead, she said I could receive an exchange / store credit. I read carefully through the return / exchange policy on the website, and this seems to be at odds with L'Occitane's actual exchange policy. Frankly, the manager wasted an hour of my time, as I had to leave and then come back. This is absolutely horrible service, and I refuse to shop here again, especially given the prices they charge.
