  Shout out to Carmela! Definitely go see her, she has been doing my hair forever! From prom hair too my lob (long bob) phase, my bang phase and to all my different color wants and needs I’ve had over the years she has done an AMAZING job. Also 10/10 shampoo head massage 😝

  Carmela is a gem with both cut and color. She single handedly saved my hair after I dyed my hair bright red, back to a normal lovely color. She is a blonding queen, always taking the time to listen to what I want for both cut and color. I highly recommend visiting for you color and cut needs! I'm always happy and walk out with beautiful results.

  The lady didnt feel like doing my child’s hair. Yelled at him for moving too much. Hes only 6. Will never go back there.

  Rude staff. Brendi or whatever her name is was very rude with me just because I’m not WHITE. If you want my advise and you are a woman of color, don’t even think about this salon. They will ruin your hair and complain about how much of hair you have. I went to highlight my hair and ended up with an orange highlights. also, staff are all white and racist.

  Lost my mind a few weeks ago and took it upon myself to go from dark, dark brown hair to white hair. At 50 years "young", I was sick and tired of coloring my hair. Been doing it since I was 28. Although, not the smartest thing I've ever done! I WANTED white hair. So, not knowing ANYTHING about hair, I dove in with two feet! Threw caution and sanity to the wind, and dove in. I started by using two applications of Oops Color Removal, and one application of Loreal Platium (7 levels.) I ended up with dark orange hair, white roots, and a horrible hairdo. Why did I pick those products? Because it seemed logical when I was in CVS reading the boxes. Having orange hair, and realizing I was way out of my sphere of knowledge, I went to a color salon nelar my home, and after 4 hours, and an empty wallet, my hair was now yellow orange. After this round, I could still see "the line" near my part. I know this is a process, and this was another step to get me my foxy white hair. But, I was starting to worry about the condition of my hair (dry, brittle, by this point) and realized I needed serious help and called upon Karen and Annette at JCPenney's Salon. These ladies were miracle workers! First, they took as much of the stripped more of the yellow/orange out, then colored my hair a gray/white. As I washed my hair, over the next two weeks, I could see the gray lightening, and the foxy white I wanted, started shining through! Karen and Annette were kind, patient, filled with explainations of the process, and when I left the salon, 4 hours later, with money still in my wallet!, I was on the path of foxy white hair, no yellow, no orange, and an awesome shag haircut. They also helped me find the correct shampoo and conditioner (not the blue products, because that would probably have made my hair purplish, I would never have known that!) so my hair would continue to lighten to my desired white. I am so grateful for Karen and Annette! They took my disaster and turned it into all that I hoped for. Thank you ladies for my new do! I am so happy with my new look! So refreshing! Thank you!
