  I asked for something pretty complicated- a calico style color job of dark red and deep black and it looks exactly how I envisioned it before getting it lol it was awesome :) hair cuttery is a fantastic place to get color and haircuts too. I’ve liked everything I’ve gotten there to date. All of the stylists are very experienced and they work as a team to make your time in there nice and easy which is also pretty important.

  I’ve been holding off on writing Google reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience. I’ve only been to this salon twice, and both times were disappointing. The first time I got my hair done, I asked for highlights, but the stylist completely messed it up. She has black hair with some grey at the front. I wear a hijab, and I have proof of the results my hair looked nothing like what I asked for. My hair was shoulder-length at the time, and she completely ruined it. I went back to try to fix it, but I had to wait about two weeks for her to do it again. Even after that, the highlights were still far from what I wanted. It ended up being a waste of money, and I had to go somewhere else to get it done properly. This happened about a year ago, and since then, I’ve mostly just told friends and family in person about my experience instead of writing a review. But now I want to share it publicly so others know. Overall, I cannot recommend this salon. My experience left me frustrated, and I would not trust them with my hair again.

  Tamara was very accommodating and professional when I walked in without an appointment. Price was right and I got in and out of there within 30 minutes. It was perfect thanks Tamara.

  This was a full-circle experience for me. I used to come here years ago when my hair was longer, but I hadn’t been back in quite some time. After a rough morning, I made a spontaneous call and was scheduled with Sam—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt taken care of. She shaped up my sides, moisturized my locs, and we even discussed products and options for proper loc care moving forward. As someone who now focuses more on natural hair health, that meant a lot to me. Her knowledge, attention, and energy truly turned my day around. I left feeling refreshed, seen, and honestly like a new person. I’m already looking forward to coming back for a full treatment. Highly recommend Sam if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about your hair and your experience.
