- AAAustin AvocadoOct 2, 20255.0Wow! I arrived on a Saturday in September at around 11:20 for a scheduled. I was referred by a friend to request Niki, as I entered I noticed a middle aged man with a baseball cap and light blonde hair and a young lady who was next in line. There was also a young man who was getting a low fade with about 3-4 inches on the top, it looked good, so I asked where is Niki and the lady at the first service chair responded saying yes I am her, she was more than happy to take me next. I made my supplication and she fulfilled her duties at the barber chair as we had a delightful conversation. I found the conversation to be ordered by The Almighty, Creator Of Heaven And Earth (Psalm 121) when I realized it wasn’t coincidental that she used to be a manager at The Great Clips on Quentin Rd location, in which I used to get hair cuts all the time!! Wow! And this being my first time at this location I found this very familiar and repatriating! I then left and went to Jersey Mikes.

- KDKage DanishAug 1, 20251.0Pray you get one of the good barbers: First a disclaimer, I have been going to this Great Clips for the better part of a year and a half, and for the most part, I have gotten adequate haircuts from them. But this will certainly be my last time I go to this Great Clips. The lady cutting my hair seemed as if she was looking to get me out the door as soon as possible when cutting my hair. She did a complete complete rush job, and when I asked her to go thinner on the sides as I was looking for a skin fade, she all but raked the sides of my head, and it definitely felt as if she was speed running my request. You can find the results in the attached images with my review. Not all of the poor work is visible in the photos due to my own Dad having to smooth out many visible shaving lines. My final thoughts of this specific Great Clips, most of the time you will get barbers who can do an adequate job, never Great though. But the fact that this last barber left me looking like I did a DIY job, is definitely where I think I’m going to have to draw the line

I have no complaints about the service I have received and I highly recommend them to anyone.
- AKAbbey KelsoJul 20, 20251.0I’ve been to many Great Clips locations over the years and always had good experiences—until now. I asked for something very simple: one inch off the ends, soft layers, and curtain bangs. Instead, they took off closer to two full inches, gave me uneven, choppy layers, and completely messed up my bangs. The haircut looks rushed and unblended, nothing like what I asked for. Hair is such a personal and emotional part of someone’s appearance, and this experience left me really upset. I’ve been crying since I got home. It’s hard to explain how discouraging it is to leave a salon feeling worse than when you walked in—especially when you trusted the stylist to listen and take care in what they were doing. This is easily the worst haircut I’ve ever had, and it’s going to take months to grow out and fix. I won’t be returning to this location, and I’d recommend others be very cautious before getting their hair done here.
