- DGDavid GriffithOct 17, 20255.0Today marks the second time Joni has cut my hair. I don’t want to go anywhere else. She’s great at what she does. My hair looks exactly how I want it every time. She asks questions and makes sure we’re both thinking the exact same thing before she makes any cuts. She verifies everything is looking good throughout the whole cut. I’m very picky with my hair and I will always be coming back as long as Joni is here. I highly recommend Joni specifically, but this establishment is also clean and the other staff seems very friendly as well.

There have been a few times where I have felt a little disregarded, but - hey, I’m practically bald and it’s pretty easy to spend 10 minutes getting me cleaned up. A few times I have been thrilled with the greeting from staff and the technician I’ve been assigned. But lately… the initial reception feels more like a number being yelled out at the DMV, and the staff chooses to spend more time chatting over the heads of clients about who is getting hired/fired than concentrating on the task at hand. My last cut was horrible! The technician “Ms. XX” never asked anything past what # of guide to use. She then proceeded to jam the clippers into my scalp. Twisting my head and neck with ZERO regard for my comfort. When I got to the car and looked in the mirror, I had distinct red track marks where the teeth of the guard scratched my head. I was tempted to go back in and complain, but it seemed obvious by the 4 people “working” that they would feel more upset with me interrupting their trash talk time than my discomfort. $16 for the simplicity of my cut is already a bit daunting, (then tipping just compounds it,) I should be getting a little TLC with that customer service.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
