This was my first time visiting this location and I would have to give Sephora a 3/5 because there were quite a bit of employees, but most of the employees were huddled at the register talking with each other but not talking with customers. I will say that Mikayla was the only person to interact with me while I needed help looking for a new foundation. Mikayla was super sweet and she had amazing knowledge on makeup and what brands catered to my needs based on my skin texture. If anyone visits this location I say ask for Mikayla!

I walked into this Harrisburg PA Sephora and was pleasantly greeted by an employee named Bridget near the front of the store. I headed towards the fragrances and there were two more employees engaged in a conversation. One of the employees turns and looks me up and down (not nicely) and turns back to the other employee to continue their conversation. No greeting, no offer of assistance. I went to a display right next to them and spotted the perfume I had came for. I waited a bit to see if I’d get an offer for assistance but I didn’t so I walked back to the front of the store to find the employee who greeted me when I entered. I asked if she could help me and she did gladly. We both walked past the other two ladies who were still engaged in conversation (not job related) and Bridget got the item and checked me out. I’m not sure if it was my clothing, the fact that I didn’t have a full face of makeup, race or something else but all potential customers should be treated with respect. I filled out a survey and the stores manager reached out to me. He apologized for the behavior of these employees but after reading other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing problem. I let the manager know that I would still be writing my review to help other shoppers and his tone changed instantly. This type of behavior usually starts and is condoned from the top. Thank you Bridget for seeing me and helping me, my daughter loved the perfume.

Holiday shopping is a great time to explore new products while getting the ones you need.
The staff and makeup artists offer excellent suggestions when you are looking for specific items. I need a full lash, but not excessive fullness. A makeup artist helped me find a suitable product from a brand-new-to-me brand called Lilly Lashes. And self-adhesive for five wears.
