I have curly hair, and when I left the salon, it was somewhat ok looking because my hair was still very wet, but when it dried, it was was the worst haircut I've ever had. It was worse than had I had chopped it off myself at home. The entire event (including the wash) took 15 minutes-- it should have taken 1 to 1.5 hours for the type of cut I was seeking. (And I showed the stylist photos before starting, to make sure we were on the same page.) Also, no one was expecting me, despite the fact that I booked an appointment in advance using their online scheduling. They do not actually honor the online appointments, as I showed up and the stylist was not there and was not answering his phone when they called. So, someone else who was available gave me the cut. I immediately found another stylist elsewhere who, within less than 24 hours (because I was embarrassed to be seen in public with the cut) worked magic to fix the first cut. The stylist who fixed my hair showed me how uneven and incorrect the JCPenney cut was. Please be very cautious of this salon. Very unprofessional all around.
