BCSBC offers comprehensive training programs in hairdressing (cosmetology), esthetics (skin care), nail technology (manicuring), and electrolysis. We also provide combination programs for students looking to expand their skill set.
How long is the Hairdressing (Cosmetology) program?
Our full-time hairdressing program spans 50 weeks. It consists of four courses: Hairdressing One (HR1), Hairdressing Two (HR2), Clinic One (HRC1), and Clinic Two (HRC2). Students also have the option to choose a non-hair elective in place of HRC2.
What is covered in the Esthetics (Skin Care) program?
The esthetics program includes two main components: a fundamentals of non-hair services course and a skin care & cosmetics course. The fundamentals course runs for 4 weeks full-time or 7 weeks in the evening, while the skin care & cosmetics course is 4 weeks full-time or 8 weeks in the evening. This program prepares students for licensure and practical clinic work.
