  They have a problem with listening. I said all I want is to trim the bottom so the bottom is even. She grumbled the whole time and chopped everything off so I ended up with a little boy haircut. It's choppy looks 100x worse than when I started. My curls are completely ruined. Zero consideration for my hair texture, curl pattern, face shape, nothing. The bottom still sticks out straight like a mullet CUZ SHE DID NOT LISTEN when I said the underside is straighter than the curls on the outside. Learn to listen to what people want, dang. She scolded me like she was teaching me a lesson by making me look like a boy. Not to mention I'm absolutely covered in hair cuz she didn't even try to take it off me. She was so miserable, even complained about my hair getting on her boots. Get a different job if cutting hair makes you that miserable that you need to take it out on customers and their hair.

  I asked for a simple 3-inch trim to get rid of split ends. Instead, I received a haircut that resembled a bob. My hair used to reach my lower back and now barely reaches my shoulders. This is by far my worst experience with my hair and I will not be back.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this Great Clips location in Downingtown, PA. I was straightforward and clear about what I wanted: a very short cut — a #0.000 (or shorter) on the sides with a fade up to finger length on top. This is not an unusual men’s haircut, and I communicated it calmly and clearly. Instead of simply saying they couldn’t accommodate the request, I was told that my haircut was “too much of a problem” for the stylists there and that I should find another salon. What made the situation worse was that I was then asked to stand in the middle of the salon while the stylist loudly called out to the entire room, asking if anyone was willing to “deal with” a short haircut. The interaction was unprofessional, embarrassing, and unnecessary. If a salon isn’t comfortable or capable of doing certain cuts, that’s fine — but it should be handled privately and respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

  They don't have haircut skills at all! I've never received this level of service quality! You can say this is Great Clips! But I am using other locations of Great Clips, and they are better!

  Here’s what you get for a $21 haircut and a $5 tip. The stylist never showed me the back with a mirror and I’m pretty sure why. The neck line can’t really get more crooked and disjointed. Also probably an inch higher than any standard haircut. Contacted the Corporate customer service team and they were very responsive saying that the Downingtown Franchisee / Owner would contact me timely. Never happened. So, bye forever, great clips. I’ll never step foot in any location again.
