I had a 10:00 AM appointment on Sunday, January 18th. Because 1–2 inches of snow fell, they decided to close - but never canceled or notified me. I arrived early at 9:30 AM. The mall had cars, snow was already being cleared, and the highways were completely fine. At 9:45, I was told the mall was “closed” and that they were just about to text me. I explained I was leaving the country the next day, and they offered zero help - no alternatives, no attempt to find another open location, nothing. They acted as if there was a blizzard outside and looked at me like I was unreasonable for being confused. Even my husband on the phone was very confused. After leaving, I called back 30 minutes later - turns out they were still there the entire time, despite claiming they were closed. During that time, they could have honored my appointment. Instead, they chose not to. Thankfully, Supercuts immediately helped me find an open location that same day. Every Supercuts I contacted was open and accommodating. Overall, the experience was unwelcoming and unprofessional (especially from the blonde staff member). I will never return to Hair Cuttery and do not recommend them to anyone on a time crunch or with an important event. They are unreliable and not accommodating when it matters most.
