- SHStuart HerrmannNov 30, 20255.0Great place to get a haircut! We were out shopping near South Hills Village and my wife wanted a quick trim of her split ends. She didn’t want to pay salon prices and figured a simple cut could be a great hack at Great Clips. We looked up local places that had no wait and Bethel Park Great Clips was top of the list. She was able to walk right in, after checking in online, and was taken right back by Jessica. Her hair was pretty long… to the middle of her back… so she asked Jessica to cut about 3” to remove all dead ends and promote healthy hair growth. No layers this time, just a blunt cut. Jessica was phenomenal. She combed out her hair and took the time to really assess the ends. She sectioned her hair, rather than rushing through and chopping it all at once, and spent time rechecking her work at every snip. She was very gentle with the comb and scissors and honestly made my wife feel so comfortable for a Great Clips. She even blowdried her hair from root to end after, as she had to spray it wet to cut it evenly. The haircut took only 12 minutes, so we were in and out… but the haircut is perfectly blunt and well done. Jessica also was great to talk to, shared fun tips for the upcoming holiday season, and smiled along with my wife the entire time. The store also was so cutely decorated for the season at every station. If you want a healthy haircut, fresh ends, or just a quick haircut, don’t sleep on Bethel Park Great Clips. The stylists are fantastic, the store is well maintained, and the price is so affordable.

Sinran (I think that was her name) absolutely butchered my hair, did not listen to any of what I wanted and did not respect what I asked for. Asked for a fade and for her to leave the long strands of my bangs alone. Walked out with extremely roughly chopped hair and she completely took off the long strands. I look like a light bulb. Cried when I got into my car. I've had good experiences here before with other stylists, but this time was bad enough that I will not be returning.

My daughter was scared as she's too little to understand what's going on and the stylist was very accommodating and even had her own young daughter help out by trying to comfort mine! Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
