I asked a store assistant if I could get a small sample of the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Serum. She immediately replied, “You can try it here.” I explained that my eyes are very sensitive and that I prefer to test the product a couple of times before buying the full size. I asked again, “Can I get a sample?” She then responded with, “How about PLEASE?” Whoa! Can you say anything ruder than that?? Since when do store staff lecture customers on manners?! On my way out, I spoke to the store’s associate manager. She was understanding and empathetic, clarified that the person wasn’t a Sephora employee but a brand rep, and assured me she would address it. I never expected such terrible treatment from a store employee. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at this location.
