I believe 2nd or 3rd in line. I went to wash my car. After the 10 minute wash, it said 0 minutes until our slot. So it should have said 30 minutes remaining, giving us time to vacuum and get in there. I understand that other people would be able to jump ahead of us and we miss our slot. They had the wait list open for the entire hour after 5pm. I understand they close at 6pm. However I checked online if they were still taking slots for hair cuts. My son is 9 years old. It would take 10 minutes. Maybe 15. We walked in and she declined service because she was alone. She had an entire hour without customers, I continued to check because I paid to get my car washed and I paid to use the vacuum services. My children and I are leaving a bad situation, can't afford basic things, and doing her job to help my son feel better about his hair was the decent human thing to do. Not turn us down because you don't want to do the haircut right at close. Maybe she should have closed business at 5pm if she needed more than an hour to close the shop alone. I hope you guys learn how to treat people better. She even commented she marked him absent because we were on the waitlist for 2 hours and didn't show up. Which wasn't even true. I showed up less than 2 hours after setting the appointment. I made the appointment at about 345pm. She also said "only product sales" without even asking what type of hair cut he wanted. You should post online that you don't do haircuts past a certain point, where only product sales are possible. Leaving the online check in for a haircut and then being told no haircuts is false advertising.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
