Then I met Abbey at Abelia Salon, and from the moment we talked, I knew she’d be “my” stylist. Abbey took the time to ask about my style, lifestyle, and comfort level with maintenance — and she absolutely nailed it. My hair was long and damaged, and she cut it beautifully without sacrificing length. For the first time in 10 years, I left a salon feeling genuinely beautiful. I’ve already gone back for colorful extensions (fuchsia, aqua, and electric blue!), and they look amazing. Abbey made the process so fun and effortless. I can’t recommend her enough — warm, professional, creative, and trustworthy. If you’ve struggled to find a stylist in Newport, Abbey is the one.

Cares about the integrity of my hair but still achieved the result I asked for! I have naturally dark brown hair but went blonde about eight years ago. I could no longer make the long trek to Vancouver and finding someone skillful who can get me in on a Saturday seemed impossible. The last four ladies I tried (and gave second chances to) either made me brassy, or orange or just plain awful to the point I just gave up thinking I could be blonde again.
