But now I come around to thinking about getting it cut again, I'm genuinely nervous and hesitant to come here. I often get a mens style, and I loved coming here cause I was never judged for my hair style, but last time, the guy cutting it was frankly rude. I don't like being confrontational, and I'm very quiet so I didn't say anything at the time, but it made me nervous the whole cut. He asked me stuff like if I was "having a break down" and kept pausing to ask if I was sure to have my hair cut, when I gave absolutely no sign I was hesitant, and have on record that I get it cut short. He also taunted me for not having watching drag races which, I don't care the assumption I'm LGBTQ+, and being a notably gay guy himself, it wasn't uncomfortable. It was being made out as less than for not watching a show he considered the epitome of queer culture, intended or not to be rude. The whole cut felt like I was being bullied. I think the only way I could come back is to know if he's not there anymore. All the women who work there are absolutely lovely however, I've never had a bad experience with them. I work in customer service myself, so I absolutely hate to besmirch someone's name, but this was wildly unprofessional of him...connection of queer culture to make him comfortable is fine but I'm a customer too.
