I had previously spoken with another location where they kindly told me which stylist would be the best fit — because my son is on the spectrum and is very sensitive about his hair. When I asked the girl on the phone at this location who their best stylist was, her response was, “We’re all trained the same.” That’s not what I asked — I was trying to find someone patient and experienced enough to make my son comfortable and confident. Instead, she repeated the same line again in a rude, snarky tone, clearly taking my question personally. It was an incredibly frustrating and unnecessary experience. We ended up calling the other Great Clips location, where they immediately helped us and paired my son with their best stylist — and he loved his haircut. This Barger location could seriously use some customer service training. There’s a huge difference between being “trained the same” and actually caring about your clients.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
