  Went to Sephora last night to buy gift certificates for my two daughters for their birthdays spent 300 dollars. To my surprise I got one small bag that comes with gift certificate as I have done for last 4 years. Would you believe the make believe store manager would not give us a second bag more than happy to pay for it but she wA on some power trip and kept shouting store policy. We were taken back we could believe our eyes and ears this little girl her name was Rose made such a big deal over nothing. Again we were willing to pay if that was solution nothing. Never ever again will we purchase from Sephora if this is class of people they have. I have spent easily over 1500 dollars with gift cards over 4 years just disgusting. Yes I did call head office not much help. Of course when I said fine please refund turns out that was not an option according to Rose Very disappointed normally I can let this go.

  Not a pleasant experience at all. I came in to buy liquid foundation for my 11-year-old dance competition, but the service was disappointing from start to finish. The first associate didn’t seem knowledgeable about the products and had to call over another employee. While the second associate began helping, she became visibly dismissive—rolling her eyes when I explained why a suggested product wouldn’t work for my daughter’s skin and asked to see alternatives. Then, without addressing my request, another employee interrupted to offer a 50-minute makeup session for my daughter, which felt inappropriate and off-topic. Overall, none of the staff were helpful; instead, they came across as rude and condescending as they exchanged, looks and rolled eyes towards each other about me. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had this kind of experience at this location.

  Me and my friend had such a great experience at Sephora thanks to Alex! He was super kind patient and really took the time to help us find exactly what we needed. He gave amazing recommendations and made the whole experience feel so easy and fun. He also gave us some sample toner pads which was so nice and appreciated. Also his lip combo was literally perfect we had to ask what he was using because it looked so good. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers and knows his stuff. Definitely one of the nicest and most helpful people we’ve met in store!

  Such nice workers, I only came for a travel from Edmonton and honestly best Sephora I’ve ever went to, they’re all such angels especially Alex the only guy worker in the store I’ve seen, the rest of the workers super helpful and they will immediately help you with a big smile on their face, going back to Edmonton tonight and I’ll be remembering this moment every single time I go to Sephora, the place is really nice and clean, smells good and you can see the joy in the atmosphere, totally recommend yall going there

  I am extremely disappointed with the behaviour of one of the employees at the Sephora in Vaughan Mills. While I was waiting in line and simply watching TikTok on my phone, store manager (not sure of the exact name , she had lash extensions) approached me in a very rude and accusatory manner. She said, “You can’t open products before buying , ma’am.” I calmly explained that I did not open this I already got opened product I’m going to ask cashier to find a new one for me,. Instead of listening, she insisted that she “why you open products ,” which was completely untrue. I fully understand opening a product before buying is not allowed even though I was already lined up for cash out , but accusing a customer without any proof and speaking to them disrespectfully is not acceptable. Her tone, attitude, and assumptions were completely out of line. No customer should be spoken to that way, especially in a brand as reputable as Sephora. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and frankly offensive. Employees should know how to approach customers respectfully, not jump to conclusions or make false accusations. I hope management takes this complaint seriously, because this store clearly needs improvement in customer service and employee training including today floor manager . I would appreciate a response regarding how this issue will be addressed. If I do not receive one, I will be contacting Sephora’s HR department directly.
